Museum Glassworks is a hot-glass teaching facility owned and operated by the National Bottle Museum ®. It is located in a small community garage just off Rt. 50 on Washington Street in the Village of Ballston Spa, NY. Classes in “Flameworking” aka “Lampworking” are offered on a regular basis and conducted by resident artists. Special classes by guest instructors of renown are offered as one or two day special weekend events. Regular classes on Tuesday evenings and Saturdays are available in two hour increments at a cost of $12 per hour with all materials included. Students have an opportunity to learn to create glass beads, art-glass marbles, jewelry, and small sculptures in a relaxed recreational atmosphere.
